Brothers and Sisters: The Answers To Your Questions

Brothers and Sisters: When In Doubt...

My sisters literally shake the house in their fights. They keep on screaming at each other. I feel as though something is wrong. What should I do?

There must be something going on with your sisters in order for that to be happening, I agree. But, when in doubt...what do you do?

Well, some of us know the saying 'when in doubt, tell the truth' right? There's even a song with that title.

You should go to one of the sisters and tell them how you feel and maybe when they tell you, they will convince the others to calm down as well. Well, it is preferably better to tell the sister you're closer to. If you don't know at all which one, then I guess it doesn't matter. You could tell either of them.

The thing is, they might not want to tell you. If they clam up, then it means it's too awkward to say. If this happens, test the other sister. If she clams up too, it really is embarrassing or awkward, so it shouldn't be your business. Maybe they'll stop anyway, but that's a 50/50 chance if that happening.

Brothers and Sisters: Infant Siblings

Do you have a sibling that's younger than you? And I mean infant young.  I do; my two year old sis is a pain to live with, my 10 year old sis and my 5 year old bro was enough.

Don't get me wrong! I think they're cute! But like my bro, he's cute on the outside, but try living with him. It won't be very  pretty. They can be cute most of the time, but when you see they're angry or tantrum side, that cuteness fades away. Here's some moments of all my siblings (including me) when we had our cute moments, which shortly turned into a tantrum moment.

2 year old--This happened today actually. My 2 year old sister was asking for a toy my 5 year old brothers had, the way she always does (Trying to reach for it until she actually swipes it from you. But when you're with my brother, his hands are like glue. That's not going to work). My 5 year old bro didn't understand that she wanted his  toy. She held out her small hand and batted her small cute eyes. He still couldn't understand. She threw a tantrum since she couldn't get what she wanted.

5 year old--My little bro was the one with the biggest tantrum. Not kidding. It was so loud the house shook. He wasn't exactly cute beforehand though. Then again, I don't think he's cute. His tantrum was for doing what "sissy" was doing: being on the computer. Mom and dad wouldn't let him, since my 10 year old sister was on it.

10 year old--My 10 year old sis's tantrum was the quietest ever. Ellen, my parents, nor I remember what it was for, but her tantrum was tears down the face. Your couldn't even hear her. When she was real little, you wouldn't know she was crying until you turned the tv down. In dead silence, you could hear her. Especially since I help my parents realize she was crying. I was 3, so I was still full of energy and awake. I just screamed "Sissy's crying" and they'd be on their way. I was even nice as a kid!

Me--I wasn't nice the whole time though. My tantrum was for a stuffed animal or something. It was something special to my dad, and I wanted it. My parents kept on saying no. I broke out screaming. The usual. Ellen was 3, so she didn't know what was going on. Ya, I was nice to my sibling, and yet Ellen was mean to her siblings. Nice right?

16 year old--Hers was the second loudest. Since this was my parents 'first child' they didn't know what to do. I'm glad I wasn't thought of at the moment. (I know that was mean. Sorry sis!) It went on and on and on and on until my dad, annoyed, so imagine how he did this, (probably swearing under his breath and putting her in sloppy) put my sis in the car and just drove until she eventually fell asleep.

Those are examples of even me, the sweetest and cutest person ever, wasn't so sweet or cute.

Thanks to my sister Ellen and my parents for all the help making this post!
